One of among other big challenges startups faces is to keep the initial development cost low for early releases and get real-time product validation from end-users with minimum cost. As microservices architecture is the preferred way to move forward, it also adds up a lot of development and infrastructure cost in the system. And if you choose to go via monolith architecture, that later asks for a lot of refactoring in the name of modernization.
